The Association says OPG Krunoslav Vidas and OPG Tomislav Vidas stand behind the Vidas entry, that the families joined the producer association at its founding in 2005, and that their family cheesemaking tradition dates to 1887.

Flock, milk and production
The farms report a combined flock of 330 Pag sheep at Škuncini and Dabovi stani. Production is seasonal, with hand milking, and includes Paški sir, curd and Pag lamb. The facility at Tina Ujevića 1 offers on-site purchase and a view of production.

PDO context
Certification means the producer may use the protected name for cheese made in conformity with the Paški sir specification. The PDO requires whole milk from the island’s native sheep, at least 60 days of maturation, and production within Pag, Maun or Škrda.
